Planning

Planning plays a vital role in fostering positive community developments in both the physical and social realms.

The act of planning allows communities to define their expectations for the future by illustrating their vision and providing helpful tools to assist with implementation. In a community that has suffered population loss and disinvestment, planning is imperative in order to define a consensus course of action and provide a route to stability. With diminishing resources, it is important to make a concerted effort to assemble a strategic vision with clearly defined priorities in order to have the most impact possible.

With professional and experienced architectural and urban planning and design staff, Neighborhood Progress brings technical savvy and contextual familiarity to community planning projects. Working in partnership with municipality planning and development staff, community development corporations, and neighborhood stakeholders, we strive to produce both aspirational and practical design plans that are able to act as a community roadmap that strengthen neighborhood assets.
