Progress Institute presents: “Amplifying Equitable Civic Engagement in Cleveland’s Neighborhoods” a power dialogue. Erika Anthony, Co-Founder of Cleveland VOTES will moderate a discussion with local CDCs (Detroit Shoreway Development Corporation/Cudell Improvement, Inc., Greater Collinwood Development Corporation and, Tremont West Development Corporation). Cleveland VOTES has partnered with our local CDCs to elevate the importance of the 2020 Census and Election. The CDCs serve as anchor institutions and trusted members in our community’s neighborhoods; this partnership has been particularly critical this year as we all navigate living and working through a global pandemic. This power dialogue will give attendees an honest and transparent insight into what is needed to develop, implement and refine equitable civic engagement strategies.
