Hike of the Doan Gorge

Dudley’s photography has been featured in galleries and nearly 100 publications around the world. He is the author of the landmark book Black & Brown Faces in America’s Wild Places profiling African Americans in nontraditional vocations and avocations in the outdoors.
The hike is part of an ongoing discussion in connecting Cleveland’s urban communities to their surrounding natural assets and public spaces while promoting healthy and active living.
Local experts will also cover a variety of topics including ecology, geology, natural and cultural history.
