Long after serving their sentence, formerly incarcerated individuals are haunted by legal penalties that interfere with their ability to find employment and housing, and to pursue educational opportunities.  Join us for a lunchtime panel discussion on the role these collateral sanctions play in perpetuating the cycle of poverty and incarceration – denying formerly incarcerated individuals a meaningful second chance.

Panelists include Judge Jim Miraldi of the Lorain County Court of Common Pleas, Captain Keith Sulzer of the Cleveland Police, and Minister Miguel Booker.  The discussion will be moderated by Katrice Williams, Policy Associate at the ACLU of Ohio.

This event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided. To RSVP, please complete the form below.
